FPW Axles Ltd is one of 220 organisations nationally to be recognised with a prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise. Announced today (Tuesday 21 April), FPW Axles has been recognised for its excellence in International trade.
FPW Axles Ltd, based in Accrington, Lancashire, was set up in 1982 to Design and manufacture Drive, Steer, Drive/Steer axles and Gearboxes for Special Purpose Vehicles.
Scott Taylor, Sales Director at FPW for the past 10 years said "We are delighted to have won such a prestigious award. It is a reflection of all the hard work and innovation the company has achieved over the past 5 years in particular. It's an award for the whole company, all our employees have contributed and we couldn't have won it without each and everyone of them! It's really great news, at a time when good news is hard to come by."
Now in its 54th year, the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are the most prestigious business awards in the country, with winning businesses able to use the esteemed Queen’s Awards emblem for the next five years. FPW Axles Ltd, lockdown allowing, will celebrate its award during a royal reception for Queen’s Awards winners in the summer. #QueensAward2020
